Status: The DNS change will not be performed for the Rejseplan API for the time being, but it has been rolled out successfully for Rejseplan frontends.
Note: This change has been postponed. The original date was Monday, 2026-09-28.
RKRP is planning to perform a DNS change on Wednesday, 2026-10-07:
www.rejseplanen.dk and rejseplanen.dk will forward to www.rejseplan.dk.
This means that www.rejseplan.dk will replace www.rejseplanen.dk and rejseplanen.dk as the alias for the Rejseplan API.
We do not expect any downtime from this DNS change, but please consider whether you need to add www.rejseplan.dk in your firewall, DNS, URL whitelist etc. to continue being able to make RP API requests.
Q&A:
- Will the DNS change also impact the webapp? Do we need to change our links for the webapp?
- Yes, the webapp is also impacted by the DNS change, but you don't need to change anything, as we will implement automatic forwarding from www.rejseplanen.dk and rejseplanen.dk to www.rejseplan.dk.
- For how long will www.rejseplanen.dk and rejseplanen.dk redirect to www.rejseplan.dk?
- The plan is for the redirect to continue indefinitely, so you can keep making requests to RP API via (www.)rejseplanen.dk.
- Will www.rejseplanen.info be impacted by the DNS change?
- We have no plans to make changes to www.rejseplanen.info.
