On November 25th 2026, the software supplier of the Rejseplan system will introduce a breaking change to the Rejseplan API, which may impact integrations that use one or more of the following RP API services, only when using XML format:
- Arrival Board
- Multi Arrival Board
- Nearby Arrival Board
- Departure Board
- Multi Departure Board
- Nearby Departure Board
- GIS Route By Context
- Interval Trip Search
- Trip Search
- Reconstruction
- Journey Detail
- Journey Match
- Line Info
- Line Match
- Line Search
- Line Schedules
- Train Search
It is a structural change which makes it breaking in case of an XML result.
The change enables the mapping of child notes of a note; for example:
Before the breaking change
<Notes>
<Note ...>textual value</Note>
<Note ...>textual value</Note>
</Notes>After the breaking change
<Notes>
<Note ...>
<value>textual value</value>
<Note...>
<value>textual value</value>
</Note>
<Note...>
<value>textual value</value>
</Note>
</Note>
<Note ...>
<value>textual value</value>
</Note>
</Notes>We recommend that you update your RP API integration to support both of these cases before November 25th 2026.
